As part of the “Exotic Fruit Week” project of a Hamburg-based national supermarket chain with more than 200 branches, the supply of Gold Pineapple and Hass Avocado was successfully managed by Lapis Agro. The products, dispatched from our Mersin logistics center, were transported to the main warehouse in Hamburg within 96 hours using vehicles equipped with controlled atmosphere technology, maintaining a constant temperature of +7°C throughout the journey. During this operation, special packaging techniques that maximize the shelf life of the fruits were used, achieving our “zero waste” target in wholesale exotic fruit export processes. Our client broke sales records in their stores with pineapples featuring a high brix (sugar) level and avocados that had reached ready-to-eat ripeness.
