Hicaz Pomegranate is the most widely cultivated pomegranate variety in Türkiye. It has a dark red skin with large, bright arils. It is known for its balanced sweet–tart flavor and high juice content. It is mainly grown around Antalya, Mersin, Adana, and Denizli. It is rich in antioxidants and vitamin C, and is commonly consumed fresh, as well as used in pomegranate juice and salads.
