Lime is a citrus fruit that is smaller, thinner-skinned, and more aromatic than the classic yellow lemon. In Türkiye, it is mainly grown around Mersin and Antalya. Due to its intense acidity and refreshing aroma, it is widely used in cocktails (especially mojitos), seafood dishes, and Asian cuisine. It is rich in vitamin C, and its peel is also used for aromatic purposes.
